Red Cabbage Slaw
Tips: Slicing red cabbage and cutting carrots into julienne slices is much faster and easier with a Japanese Benriner or other adjustable-blade slicer. Benriner is available in Oriental stores and Kitchen Etc.
Serves 4
Ingredients Directions
1 small head of red cabbage
1 large carrot
1 apple
1 Tbsp rice vinegar
1/4 tsp sugar
Salt to taste
Slice red cabbage using an Oriental slicer or a food processor with a slicing attachment.
Peel and julienne the carrot.
Core the apple and cut into 1/2" dice.
Mix all the veggies in a bowl with vinegar, sugar, and salt.
